We are taking part in "YUGAGRO" international agricultural exhibition

NIIMA Progress (part of Group of Companies "Element", MOEX:ELMT) participated in the "YUGAGRO" international agricultural exhibition. Company's experts presented their own developments to Kuban agricultural producers: ProGeoAgro software and hardware complex for mapping agricultural fields using computer vision, as well as a high-precision satellite geodetic complex PRO-GEO.

ProGeoAgro is a software and hardware complex for mapping agricultural fields, greenhouses, orchards and vineyards using a combined geolocation system, computer vision and artificial intelligence algorithms. Mapping is carried out in several stages. A video camera is installed on agricultural machinery and is integrated with a geodesic GNSS receiver PRO-GEO. A vehicle moves through a field, captures and collects photo information with each frame containing location information with an accuracy of up to millimeters. Data obtained are processed using computer vision and artificial intelligence technologies to identify fruits in a frame or signs of plant disease based on defects in a fruit or leaves. With the help of data obtained, it is possible to build a yield map, form predictive models, identify geofences with defective fruits and plant diseases, and all this in order to further increase yield and efficiency of agro-industrial production.

It should be noted that in 2024, the ProGeoAgro complex was successfully tested in vineyards of the Republic of Dagestan.
